This is a small tip for you to clean the pitch quickly.

After you did a pitch work, you need to remove it from the piece. Usually, I think, you dip it in some thinner and leave it for a while. But it takes long time. This is my trick to do it quickly. Prepare the piece, some lacquer thinner(or acetone or whatever organic solvent) in a bottle, and a super sonic washer.

Then all you have to do is to dip the piece in the thinner and put the bottle into the water of the super sonic washer. Adjust the amount of the water peviously so that the bottle doesn't float but touches the base of the washer. Maybe 30 seconds is enough in most cases. Needless to say you should be sure that the stone is tolerant both of thinner and super sonic.
