This pendant was born from an imaginary flower that exists nowhere in nature, yet feels entirely like you might have seen it somewhere. Handcrafted in oxidized sterling silver with selectively polished surfaces, the design plays with contrast: dark, shadowed recesses meeting bright, burnished edges. At the heart of this piece sits a marquise rutilated quartz cabochon, backed with black mother of pearl. The iridescent surface of the shell reflects through the translucent quartz, creating a living, shifting schiller effect — a soft, inner glow that changes with every angle and every light source. No two viewings are quite the same. The design gives this necklace a moody, gothic edge. It moves easily from everyday wear to formal occasions, from a simple black dress to a layered winter outfit. And of course it can also be enjoyed as a standalone work of art.
