This statement pendant takes its inspiration from the Victorian tradition of botanical specimens — but the flower inside never existed in any field or forest. Sawn and shaped by hand from sterling silver and finished with warm gold vermeil, this imaginary ironpunk bloom sits at the center of a deep shadowbox frame, as if pinned and preserved for eternity.
The pendant features a double-frame: the outer border is ornamented with scrollwork and a delicate shell motif crown that nods to Art Nouveau elegance, while the inner frame is finished with fine milgrain beading for a touch of refined detail. Flanking scrolls echo the organic, flowing lines of the early 20th century decorative arts movement.
At the heart of the piece, the stylized ironpunk flower — with its sharp, radiating petals and angular leaves — creates a striking contrast of hard geometry and organic form. The oxidized silver ground makes the gold vermeil elements glow, as if lit from within.
