The surface of the sterling silver body is polished but the inside is oxidized so that the scroll openwork stands out.
The butterfly is made by Keum Boo ( fine gold foil on sterling silver).
The foil is 20 time thicker than the ordinary "thick plating" so it's hard to wear off.
In my opinion, this pendant ca be unisex.
Therefore the clasp is an oval lobster type.
If you like a round clasp, tell me so when you buy it.
