Actually the real motif of this pendant is a scarab that is often used as a jewelry motif.
But after a lot of sketch work of modifying, it ended up in this. And looking at it from a new point of view, it looks like a flared mini skirt.
The material is mainly sterling silver. It's oxidized and then polished by hand carefully so that the shape is enhanced. As an accent, I overlaid a piece of fine gold on the "skirt".
The stone is an amethyst cab. Honestly speaking, if you look at it carefully, you will find some inclusions near the surface. But I think it doesn't matter so much for bare eyes.
I made it for casual situations. But on the other hand I designed it carefully not to be ordinary. Casual but distinctive. It's the concept of this piece.
