Gold checkers and waterlily Keum Boo neckleace inspired by Japanese room partition

Only 1 left in stock

$800.00

Inspired by the captivating aesthetics of Japanese culture, this jewelry piece takes cues from the traditional room partitions known as Byobu.

Crafted with sterling silver, fine gold, and fine silver, it reflects excellence and opulence.

The delicate depiction of a waterlily and pads on still water pays homage to the rich artistic tradition of Byobu.

Through the ancient technique of Keum Boo, fine gold foil is fused onto the silver, creating captivating textures and tones.

The checkers texture adds visual appeal and serves as a tactile reminder of the craftsmanship involved. Completing the design are gray dyed Akoya pearls, known for their lustrous appearance, adding elegance and timeless beauty.
