A bold, one-of-a-kind statement piece from my "Imaginary Flower" series — a fictional bloom rendered in vivid red Hido copper, tilted dynamically with a gently twisted leaf for a sense of motion and life.
The flower is set against deep black oxidized sterling silver, framed in a Gothic/Ironpunk specimen box adorned with a shell-shaped crown and delicate scrollwork at the top. Two small plates are mounted within the frame — one engraved with the piece's title and year, the other bearing my house mark — true to the spirit of an antique specimen display.
The contrast between the matte black background and the glossy red petals makes this pendant strikingly eye-catching, almost like a tiny framed artwork you can wear. While it may not suit every outfit, it's the kind of piece that instantly marks its wearer as someone with a distinctive, artistic eye.
