The stones are amethyst cabs and they are lined with shimmering white mother of pearl. So they show an interesting brightness with a play of light that catches the eye.
The pendant is made of oxidized sterling silver. I applied fine gold powder on it by the technique called Makie, Japanese traditional lacquer technique. To ensure its durability, the gold is protected by a clear urethane coating.
