This thistle motif ring featuring two trillion rose cut white quartz that are lined with red copper colored by the technique called Hido, Japanese traditional patina.
Because of this linings, the quartz look red and (or) white depending on your view angle.
And of course these rose cut stones show great scintillation of reflection that is, they say, the feature of this cut.
