This amazing stone is quartz lined with black mother of pearl.
The cut of the quartz is a kind of cabochon with facettes that look like cushion cut.
Therefore it works as a lens and show you amazing iridescence of MOP.
The design is inspired by Art Nouveau.
It includes openwork of ginkgo and scrolls.
I oxidized the silver and made it black to enhance the iridescence.
