This pendant features two Japanese alloys and copper.
One is Shakudo.
It's an alloy of copper and a little gold. It turns into black by Japanese patina technique called Iroage.
The black spots on the bigger leaf is made of it.
The other alloy is Shibuichi.
It's an alloy of copper and 25% silver.
It turns into gray by Iroage.
The smaller leaf is made of it.
The main part of the bigger leaf is made of copper that turns into reddish brown.
I added a little tone with cashew lacquer.
The leaves are textured and veins are engraved to express the realistic look.
